ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENT PREPARATION

All drinking water and wastewater improvement projects must meet certain environmental requirements in order to be approved for funding and/or construction.  And these environmental requirements involve many agencies.
Getting environmental approval may add years onto the project's timeline, sometimes dooming projects to failure.  It takes a lot of communication with the regulatory agencies and a good knowledge of the regulations to develop the environmental documents necessary to obtain proper approval.
Shaffers Engineering and Consulting works with communities and their professionals to develop timely environmental documents to submit to funding agencies and regulatory agencies for review and approval.
