This course is designed to introduce the wastewater operator to the wonderful world of wastewater ruse, used to treat and dispose of wastewater effluent that has been treated by secondary treatment. This is only an introductory course so as much as we may want, the information is limited, though the operator is encouraged to pursue addition information apart from this course.
The operator will learn of the need for reuse treatment and disposal, the types of systems that are available, the physical and regulatory requirements for each of these systems, and basic operations and maintenance. The operator will also learn what testing is needed to ensure the system is managed properly and reporting requirements. We will also look to the future to see what lay in store for such systems.
There will be a lot of discussion and examples. All are welcome and I look forward to meeting new friends and seeing old friends. The cost of this six-hour course (0.6 CEU's) is $120.00, and of course refreshments are provided.
