Water Quality Assurance Plans

Course Number: To be assigned

Discipline:   Drinking Water

Course Approval:  To be approved

CEUs Assigned: 0.6

Course Agenda:  Located here

The purpose of this course is to educate the operator on not only the requirements for a water quality operating plan, but also how to utilize this plan for effective sample collection, preservation, transportation, evaluation, and reporting and how to use this plan to legally protect the system and its operators.  While there are certain minimum requirements that must be included in the water quality assurance plan, the overall plan differs widely from system to system, from state to state, and from region to region.  This course will discuss the minimum requirements for these plans and present many examples for the operator to learn from.  Come join this class and share what you already have for a water quality assurance plan, as well as to learn from others what they also have.

There will be a lot of discussion and examples. All are welcome and I look forward to meeting new friends and seeing old ones. The cost of this six-hour course (0.6 CEU's) is $120.00, and of course refreshments are provided.
