This course is designed to introduce the wastewater operator to the exciting world of phosphorus treatment and removal that plague wastewater operators around the world. This is only an introductory course so as much as we may want, the information is limited, though the operator is encouraged to pursue addition information apart from this course.
This course will introduce the operator to the the various types of phosphorus in wastewater. The operator will also learn about the types of phosphorus in wastewater and how to put together a treatment regime that helps remove the phosphorus in the waste stream. This includes chemical treatment for phosphorus removal and biological treatment for phosphorus removal. And though only an introductory course in phosphorus removal, the operator will gain enough knowledge to attend more indepth studies in the future and not feel lost or behind the eight ball.
There will be a lot of discussion and examples. All are welcome and I look forward to meeting new friends and seeing old friends. The cost of this six-hour course (0.6 CEU's) is $120.00, and of course refreshments are provided.
